We had to decide what to call the different rooms so, downstairs we’re having a study, a library, a kitchen, a dining room and an utility room. In our Edinburgh flat we had the dining table in the kitchen as it was quite big but here the kitchen is smaller. Also, I quite like a separate dining room/breakfast room. Upstairs we’ve got 3 bedrooms and an upstairs sitting room which we are going to call the parlour (just because we can).
